Rae has over 25 years experience of in Product and Process Development, Regulatory Compliance, Safety, Quality Systems, and Project Management in the dietary supplement, functional food, and cosmetics & personal care industries.

​

After working for several major companies in the nutrition, dietary supplement, and cosmetics & personal care industries in the United States for over a decade, Rae founded CPC in 2007.  Before CPC, Rae was Director of Product and Process Development, Director of Product Strategies, and Director of Project Management at Herbalife Nutrition, a global multi-billion dollar company that develops, markets, and sells dietary supplements, weight management, sports nutrition, cosmetics and personal-care products.  Rae managed the company's global product development project portfolio in 63 countries, helped the company to relaunch products in China, renovate the company's flagship products globally, and established a stage-gate product development process from concept to commercialization.

Before Herbalife, as an accomplished product developer, Rae developed various new products generating hundreds of millions of dollars sales at Pharmavite LLC, the maker of Nature Made®, the #1 selling national vitamin and supplement brand in traditional retail outlets in the U.S.

Partnering with top industry experts, Rae and CPC associates have successfully helped domestic and international clients developing products from concept to market, marketing their products in the United States, China, and other countries.  She develops and implements practical and result-oriented safety and quality Systems (FSMA, cGMPs, HACCP) for clients to meet regulatory, industrial, and third-party certifications requirements;  develops, implements, and maintains Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) for U.S. importers; audits facilities for clients and third-party certification companies; resolves warning letters & 483s and import detentions/refusals for clients with the FDA;  provides public and private training.

She is an FSPCA lead instructor of Food Safety and Preventive Control (an FDA-recognized program) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with an MBA degree, a Master's degree in Food Science, and a B.S. degree in Food Chemistry.  She is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
